Wireless Time System
AVT have recently added the Bodet range of time displays to our product range. Bodet have been building and supplying time systems since 1868, and their range of products allows us to provide other options to our clients.
The principal differences are - the Bodet range include alternative clock styles including analogue, LCD and Backlit LCD, samples are illustrated below. Also, and perhaps of more interest is the option to have wireless synchronisation.

Battery Powered Option
Many of the range of Bodet displays can be battery powered, thereby removing the need for any cabling, power or data. The batteries have a lifecycle of 3 years with standard use, or 5 years using sleep mode (clock goes into standby mode from 9pm to 6am).
Wireless Synchronisation
Wireless clock systems can synchronise clock networks in one or several buildings without any data cabling. A time message is transmitted from the master clock via an 869MHz radio transmitter. Slave clocks pick up the message and automatically synchronise. In case of interference, they continue to work on their own time base. Transmission range is about 100 to 200 metres; depends of the number, structure and thickness of the walls.
Main Advantages
- Cost savings on installation costs
- Reduced limitations clock placement.
- Easy public or industrial buildings restoration and existing systems extension
- Unified time distribution in all the buildings of campus, big factories and sites separated by roads without civil engineering works.
- No visible cables
